I grew up in a desert in western Argentina, at the foot of the Andes, where water was so scarce that I thought about it constantly. Imagination became my most habitable refuge. Since then, I have devoted my life to making things: textiles, objects, gardens, and stories; always drawn to what is green, to whatever grows where it is least expected, and to the beauty that appears in the most unlikely places.
I now live in London. Moving between cultures and languages has influenced everything I do. I run Les Keepers, a studio where we create small editions of objects and textiles.
Paradise Found is my first novel. It takes place in a world that has solved the problem of death and forgotten to ask what makes life meaningful.
Crecí en un desierto del oeste de Argentina, al pie de los Andes, donde el agua era tan escasa que pensaba constantemente en ella. La imaginación se convirtió en mi refugio más hospitalario. Desde entonces, he dedicado mi vida a hacer cosas: textiles, objetos, jardines e historias; siempre atraído por lo verde, por aquello que crece donde menos se lo espera y por la belleza que aparece en los lugares menos previsibles.
Ahora vivo en Londres. Moverme entre culturas y lenguas ha influido en todo lo que hago. Dirijo Les Keepers, un estudio donde creamos pequeñas ediciones de objetos y textiles.
Paradiso es mi primera novela. Transcurre en un mundo que ha resuelto el problema de la muerte y ha olvidado preguntarse qué hace que la vida tenga sentido
Everything we produce leaves a mark. It is such a simple truth that it hardly seems worth stating, and yet everything changes if you take it seriously.
From the beginning, I have sought to reduce impact and contribute to the environment and the community with every decision. I do not do this out of ideology, but because it seems like the most logical thing to do when you pay attention. These books, like everything I make, are produced according to the best responsible practices available at the time.
What moves me, ultimately, is hope. Hope as a practice: the only sensible reason to keep searching.

Todo lo que producimos deja una marca. Es una verdad tan simple que casi no vale la pena decirla, y sin embargo cambia todo si uno se la toma en serio.
Desde el inicio, busqué reducir el impacto y aportar al medio ambiente y a la comunidad en cada decisión. No lo hago por ideología, sino porque me parece lo más lógico al prestar atención. Estos libros, como todo lo que hago, se producen conforme a las mejores prácticas responsables vigentes en el momento.
Lo que me mueve, en el fondo, es la esperanza. La esperanza como práctica: la única razón sensata para seguir buscando.
Así construyendo deliberadamente desde el principio un después mejor.
